Award-winning PR firm commits to a Greener Future
Clearly PR, the multi-award winning PR, digital and social media agency based in Bath, already a certified B-Corp, have committed to directly improving their environmental impact by working with Greener Energy Futures to measure their carbon footprint and implement measures to reduce it.
Clearly PR already have a tremendously positive impact through supporting their staff and the wider community through providing a diverse and inclusive working environment supported by good policies and through supporting local charities and community organisations. But the Managing Director, Paul, wanted to know what could be done to help them be a more planet-friendly organisation.
Through Greener Energy Futures’ footprint assessment and workshop, 3 main areas were identified to reduce the company’s impact and these will now be integrated into the business’ plan for the year to make significant reductions.
“As a B-Corp, Clearly PR are committed to improving our impact on the environment, as well as supporting the local community. We’d been following Greener Energy Futures and were impressed by the impact they’d made for other local brands on Net Zero, so hired them to help us identify where our operation creates emissions and what we could do to reduce them. Their analysis and workshop helped us identify 3 clear projects to reduce our impacts- our choice of bank, how we commute and how we control office energy usage. We plan to implement these over the coming months to further improve Clearly PR’s positive impacts. We’d urge other organisations to take the opportunity to act authentically on green issues and work with trusted partners like Greener Energy Futures to help you change for better”
— Paul Mackenzie-Cummins, Managing Director, Clearly PR
